Composers’ Forum – Lecture by Ziv Cojocaru

Title for lecture: Know where you came from and where you are going – Issues of identity and belonging in my compositions
Ziv Cojocaru is an interdisciplinary musician - composer, conductor, and arranger.
He is the recipient of the 2025 ACUM Composition Award, 2015 Prime Minister Award.
He serves as Professor of Music and head of the Music division in Ben Gurion University.
And as Composer in Residence with the Israel Symphony Orchestra.
Until recently - Conductor in Residence for the Israel Sinfonietta and Chair of the Composition Department at the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
His Compositions have been preformed worldwide by significant orchestras and ensembles and are published by IMC and IMI.
As conductor - performed with all major orchestras and ensembles in Israel.
As arranger - appeared in many of Israel's best selling albums as a producer, arranger, conductor and composer.
