The concept for the series entitled “Password” was devised by Balázs Fülei, who, as the head of the Chamber Music Department, has a broad insight into the repertoire and the habits of drawing up concert programs of young musicians. This series creates a creative space where the oft-discussed enriching collaboration and joint creation between different artistic fields can come to life in practice. It brings together two art forms that convey messages directly, without linguistic coding: music and visual arts. Students from the Liszt Academy and the Hungarian University of Fine Arts begin working based on a jointly determined theme, a keyword. This is akin to a free association exercise involving highly talented young individuals studying their respective crafts at the highest level. Alongside earlier works, new creations in both fields emerge. The concert installations will feature photographs and videos of paintings, sculptures, and small plastic art. These visual art pieces will also be exhibited independently at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts for a few weeks following the concert.

We would like to inform our audience that the concert will be held on 3 December instead of 2 December.
